From his gruelling start, knocking on the doors of renowned tailors only to be rejected, to the sacrifices made in order to commute and then move from the Midlands down to London.
Richard tells the story of sewing hundreds of stitches, only to have to start again when one stitch was out of place. The determination that this has sewn in him to create things of beauty and to succeed will – surely – be recognised by many of our clients.
Eventually, Richard began working for Oswald Boateng, where he gained experience working with celebrity clients from politicians to Chris Rock and worked on their menswear show at London Fashion Week.
